Jamie King is a comedy writer from Port Townsend, Washington, currently based in Los Angeles . Classically trained as an actor, Jamie talent for comedy led him to perform stand-up, sketch and improv all around New York City. His original sketch shows have been produced at the at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre (NY) , the Access Theater , the Interborough Repertory Theater , the Ace of Clubs , the Montreal Sketch Comedy Festival and the Los Angeles Comedy Festival , among other venues. His screenplay, Aaron and Persephone , was a semi-finalist in the 2010 Austin Film Festival . That same year, Jamie composed, wrote, directed and produced the unauthorized parody, Stephen King High School: The Musical , later filming, directing and editing the show as a web series, which can be viewed at SKHSM.com .  Jamie holds a BFA in Theatre from New York University and is currently pursing a Masters in Writing and Producing for Television at Loyola Marymount University.
